MODERN BLUEGRASS STOMPS INTO LONG BEACH’S PIKE BAR THIS WEEKEND
Katie Jo has been named "Miss August" in the 2018 Banjo Babes Calendar, which features 12 professional female banjo players from around the world!
The Banjo Babes Calendar & Album is a collective, grassroots celebration of professional women banjo players. Showcasing songs and professional promotion for emerging and established lady banjo artists from around the world, the project aims to create a fun community around celebrating women who play banjo and their music. The Banjo Babes 2018 Calendar & Album is themed "Five String Circus" and comes with a wall-calendar featuring a photo and bio of each artist plus a professional compilation album featuring "Moonpie Crying," written by LJ Dougherty featuring Katie Jo on banjo.

"CROOKED LIES" SELECTED FOR LBMC'S SUMMER 2017 EP
Our song "Crooked Lies" was selected for inclusion in the Long Beach Music Collective's Summer 2017 compilation, "Resist and Shout." The Long Beach Music Collective seasonal EPs feature songs from local artists around a central theme. "Crooked Lies" was selected from over 40 submissions, and the only country song to be featured on the compilation.
